Oliver launched The Private Pain Clinic after identifying a need for more advanced treatment options for people suffering from chronic pain. This came after an eight-year-long journey to find relief from his own chronic symptoms. His Osteopath training, the NHS, and private doctors had no answer for treating his condition. This led Oliver to look outside of the UK at some of the advanced therapy technology and treatment approaches that were being used in countries such as Germany and America, much of which he now offers at the clinic.
Through his experience, Oliver has developed a unique treatment approach for individuals in pain who have struggled to find relief with other treatments in the past. He and his team adopt a comprehensive examination approach that involves the use of digital biomechanical scans to help to identify issues and imbalances in the body that haven’t been identified in the past. The results from the scans help the team to better understand why an individual has failed to experience relief with other treatments in the past, and also helps them to perform more targeted treatment with the technology that is available at the clinic.
Alongside his degree in Osteopathic Medicine, Oliver has completed further post-graduate training with the Royal Society of Medicine, Charing Cross Hospital in London, and the medical department of Heidelberg University in Germany.
During his time prectising, Oliver has had the privilege of treating many elite athletes, including Olympic and Commonwealth medalists.
